Doumyouji finally comes to the fishing village. Does he plan to bring Tsukushi back?!

Doumyouji and Tsukushi looking into each other's eyes, Tsukushi is shocked.

(Why is Doumyouji here?) Then Doumyouji turns to Rui, "So, I've done it." "I am going back."

"Waaaait..." a villager stopped him and asked for the 300 thousand that Mrs. Makino owes her.

Tsukushi embarrassed and tries to explain to the villagers, "This person has nothing to do with my family. For the 300 thousand, I'll..."

Doumyouji gestures to stop Tsukushi from saying more. He takes out his wallet. "I've only got 250 thousand. Rui, lend me 50 thousand."

(Jackie: "Doumyouji, I love you!")

The villagers throws a party for Mrs. Makino. They praise her for having a good daughter. One man says he never doubted it. Other women urge Mrs. Makino to have Tsukushi introduce guys to their daughters some other day.

On the beach, Rui and Tsukushi are talking about going back. Tsukushi changes the subject:

"Thank you for the money, I'll pay you back."

"It's the money I lent Tsukasa, so you can just go talk to him," Rui replies, turns and calls out "Tsukasa!"

Then we see Doumyouji a little farther off on the beach. Tsukushi is fidgeted. (Oh, no. I can't even talk right.) Then this guy (like misa, I don't know his name) appears, asks Tsukushi to introduce "the two rich guys from Tokyo". When Doumyouji is introduced, "So you are THE Doumyouji of the talk!" This guy then suggests a farewell party for Tsukushi right there on the beach.

While Rui and this guy are talking, Tsukushi feels she should say something to Doumyouji, "Thank you for the money, I'll pay you back."

"I don't want it back. Consider it your salary," Doumyouji replies without looking at Tsukushi.

In Tsukushi's thought: (Though nothing has changed, between us lies that raining night. I can still hear the sound of that non-stop rain. How far it seems the distance between us, though he is only an arm away.)

Doumyouji: " 'going?"

Tsukushi: "Uh?"

Doumyouji: "Are you going back?"

Tsukushi: "I don't know. I have to discuss it with my parents... soon."

Doumyouji: "What do you mean soon?"

Doumyouji turns facing Tsukushi and yells, "Soon is no good!"

Tsukushi startled: "Why are you yelling at me?!"

Doumyouji keeps yelling: "I've been mad as hell. You disappeared without a word. What do you think you are doing. You...."

Tsukushi gets frightened. (He's going to slap me!)

But Doumyouji only lightly pats her cheeks.

"I have been worried dead." Doumyouji says looking at Tsukushi ever so gently .

"No matter what, come back."

In Tsukushi's thought: (I have been pretending. So much for my trying so hard not to let my tears show...)
