| Just
to let you all know, this volume came with a VERY cute
notebook for Hana Yori Dango. It's for writing down
recipies. In the back, the "F3" (Rui, Soijirou,
Akira) and Tsukushi decide to use Domyouji as an example
for how to make sushi!!! The tie him up, put tape on his
mouth, spread rice on a VERY large piece of nori
(seaweed) an then roll Domyoji up inside!! It's very very
funny ^_^ You can see pictures here: http://www.anime-online.com/hanayoridango/hydmisc.html This volume starts off with an AWESOME picture of Domyouji and Tsukushi in full color ^_^!! You can see this picture (the one where they are holding the bears) here: http://www.anime-online.com/hanayoridango/mangascans.html Then on the first normal page we see Soijirou (with lots of bandages on!! poor Nishikado-san ;_;) yelling about Domyouji to the usual suspects. They all can't figure out what's wrong with him, and where the heck Tsukushi is. Brief flashback to the scene of Domyouji standing there wiping the blood away from Volume 18. You can see the Nishikado opening page here: http://www.anime-online.com/hanayoridango/mangascans.html The scene changes to Tsukushi and the boy (I really MUST remember his name ^_^;; sorry!) working selling corn on the cob by the ocean. As far as I can tell, the boy was #1: Late, #2: Didn't work very hard when he finally got there, and #3: He's a hopeless daydreamer ^_^!! He convinces Tsukushi to come back with him to his apartment, and she finds that he lives in this dingy little boarding house room that looks like a tornado hit it. Inside he is working on his "artwork" which are silly looking modern-art style wire things made out of COATHANGERS!! They talk for a bit, and then Tsukushi leaves to walk home. Tsukushi is walking up the street where her parents now live, and she is stopped by her mother who looks completely freaked out. The entire village (!!) is standing behind her. Mama starts to yell at Tsukushi, and she mentions Domyouji, but it's difficult for me to tell exactly what the situation is. I ~THINK~ that Tsukushi lied to her parents and told them that she had told everyone at Eitoku Gakuen that she was leaving. In fact, Tsukushi just disappeared instead of telling anyone where she was going. All I can see is that Mama keeps saying "Domyouji-san" over and over and Tsukushi looks upset, so I think her mom found out. Rui is sitting in front of a television set looking apathetic as usual and flipping between stations. We see the news, and a couple of cheesy shows, and then all of a sudden he changes the channel to one of those "Cultural" channels and they are doing a program on the seaside. A girl with short ponytails is standing there in a hut selling corn on the cob as the reporter is talking. Rui drops the remote, and the next scene shows a closeup of what Rui is seeing: it's TSUKUSHI!!! And then, of course ^_- , this chapter ends!!! ;_; |
