We see Tsukushi looking frustrated as her mother chats with 3 of the other
ladies.

Mama:
"Well, yes... But when I think of the future..."

One of the Ladies:
"I guess there was no point in raising your daughter just so she could go
to some school around here and get a bad catch."

(Misa: notice that this is a joke; fishing village, catch. Ha ha. Of
course, they are talking about HUSBANDS ^_^) 

Mama:
"Well, that's the point, even if it takes some money in the beginning."

Tsukushi falls over, horrified ^_^.

Tsukushi *thought*:
"It's not my future..." 

Mama: (as she picks up the passed-out Tsukushi)
"I know. Now, Tsukushi, this afternoon we are going to Itagaki."

Mama says to the ladies:
"Everyone, do whatever you want."

The two walk off from the other ladies. 

Tsukushi says to her mother:
"Mama I wish you would stop saying those things."

Mama looks over her sholder and smiles:
"What are you talking about? It's alright!"
