Cel Info: Another of my favorite cels, not just from Macross but in my entire collection. When I was a kid, I used to stare at my Macross Perfect Memory book and pick out the scenes that I wanted. This was one of them! Hikaru has just rescued Misa from Alaska Base... she was the only survivor. This was originally the "end" of the Macross Saga, the episodes after this one were added later. So, the reunion of Misa and Hikaru is really supposed to be the revelation of their love, he has let Minmay go. Of course, the producers HAD to go introduce another segment... sigh. It all works out in the end ^_^!

Other Info: No douga or genga. The interesting thing about this cel is that wherever you see white in the cel is actually clear (no paint at all). The white comes from a piece of paper I put behind it. The original scene had a white background too. The scene is intentionally in black and white.
